International Association of Bookkeepers (IAB) Courses

IAB websiteThe IAB is an Ofqual Recognised Awarding Organisation with regulated qualifications, which means studying through the IAB leads to you gaining valued, professional status. An IAB qualification gives prospective employers or clients complete confidence in your expert skills, whilst exclusive access to IAB Professional membership offers on-going support throughout your career. You can read more about the IAB here.

IAB Courses & Training with Bridge Training Solutions:
There are never more than 3 delegates on a course which allows plenty of time for Q & A’s and also plenty of practical hands on exercises and Mock paper practice. Course Books, notes, mock papers, Tea/Coffee and Lunches are also included in the course fee. If the course is computerised then laptops and relevant software are available for the duration. Or you are welcome to bring your own.

The courses are run in a relaxed workshop style in a purpose built training room at Lymington Town Sailing Club or if you require Bespoke Training this can be run at your Home or Office.

Refresher courses or revision courses can be provided on a one to one basis, for example – if you need to tackle particular topics or subjects – you may need certain topics from different levels of syllabus – this can be achieved on a daily basis. Please call for individual prices.

The IAB exams are practical vocational qualifications that lead to IAB membership and professional status. You can take assessments as soon as you register with IAB as a student. To achieve IAB qualifications you need to complete the assessments in order as per the IAB website. for full details on the courses, assessments and qualifications, please see the IAB’s Qualifications pages.

IAB Examinations – Your Choice
You don’t have to sit the exams – some delegates are just requiring a solid grounding in Bookkeeping for employment purposes and pick parts of each course to concentrate on. We can tailor this for Businesses or firms looking to send a small group to us for tuition.

For those who do wish to sit the exams please refer to our FAQ’s pages on the rules and regulations and also see below to where they take place etc.

BRIDGE TRAINING SOLUTIONS do not book the exams or include the Exam fees or IAB joining fees. We can assist and advise with this.

Please call us with any questions or to find out more about any of our courses – speak to Rebecca Ray on 01425 674776.
